Compulsive Shopper

(Minor Unfavorable Trait)

In order to take this trait a character needs to have a Resources value of at least 4. The character is under a mental compulsion to shop, especially when under stress, depressed, disappointed, or when traveling in new places. They do not necessarily shop for themselves, they might be buying gifts for others, but they will feel a certain psychological need to make purchases of one sort or another.

Shopping gives them a bit of a euphoric high, enough to cancel practical concerns regarding their available resources and future needs. They will have a tendency to spend more than their income allows them to do comfortably.

This trait is generally not allowed at the same time as Greedy or Miserly.
