Excessively Fertile

(Major Unfavorable Trait)

A character with this trait has a body that is more fertile than is normal for their species. Unless they are female and pregnant or having their menses, using protective magic, or using a scientific method to block fertilization, they have a 25% chance from any sexual intercourse that they engage in with beings of appropriate gender and species will produce offspring (unless the subject is Infertile themselves, female and pregnant, or having their menses).

(Normal human average fertility, for game purposes, is approx. 10% chance per appropriate sexual encounter with a member of the opposite sex. This drops to 5% after age 35).

This trait can affect the character's relationships and activity therein, may affect their concepts of self worth, may affect their activity (pregnant characters receive penalties to many fitness related skills while pregnant due to reduced energy levels, difference in their balance and mobility).

Some cultures hold a character with this trait in higher esteem/value, others do not, and others may limit the opportunities to such a character.

In some campaigns this may be considered a Story Trait.

It should not be taken if it will not change the behavior, personality or the sort of story lines the character will be involved in. The GM may limit its usage in the game if he/she believes that it would not come into play within the planned campaign concepts or would be too debilitating within the campaign

It cannot be taken at the same time as Infertile or Sexually Dysfunctional.
