A character with this trait has the ability to travel thru the air magically when desired. It is usually the result of a divine gift, a magical accident or a Mystic Heritage.
What kind of Flight the character has will define properties of this ability:
Winged Flight : The character has actual physical wings, extra limbs devoted to this form of flight. They are not actually as wide as would be needed to carry a creature of this size, they are magically enhanced. They may be feathered or bat-like in nature and appearance (or even butterfly-like). They can move at unimpeded rate equal to their Move plus Spirit (that is: Fitness + Dexterity + Spirit as full move in Meters in any direction while flying). Wings, of course, can be hit in combat just like other limbs, and the character needs space to take flight, turn direction, etc. Additionally Wings are rather obvious and can get in the way in close quarters. Dexterity rolls may be needed for tricky manuevers. A Character with Winged Flight will not lose control if Stunned, but will simply hover in place.
Thought Flight : The character moves thru the air at will, can levitate, easily hover, etc. There is no obviousness to this ability as there are with wings, and it does not have the same amount of space needs or combat risks as winged flight. The Speed of Thought Flight is (Spirit + Creativity) in meters in a combat round in any direction, generally less than that of Winged Flight. If Stunned in Combat, a character with Thought Flight will fall if they were in flight (Hovering requires an act of will).
Flying characters cannot be knocked Prone if they were in flight when struck. Encumberance limits do apply to flight just as with regular ground movement.
