Foster Child

Foster children are mildly stigmatized within the societies of Zamani, much the way that Orphans can be. They have been raised by non-relatives and may not necessarily know anything about their birth parents. Socially this causes a certain amount of speculation and slight distrust of them in some social circles.

Generally a Foster Child will not inherit financially upon the death of their guardian(s), except in situations where there has been an official will or where there were no other heirs.

In some countries and in specific churches a foster child might not have a guardian but would be more of a ward of the church or state, with possibly a second class citizen status in some remote lands.

The details of the fosterage must be worked out with the GM in advance to take this trait.
