The study of rock formations and long term developments, movements and changes in the topology of worlds. It includes understanding of the movement effects of water, ice and wind and their effects on the topology. It also includes the determiniation of the nature and placement of various minerals, subterranean deposits, and probability of the existence of specific substances (like valuable minerals or coal and oil deposits) in an area.

Because Zamani is a "gross" rather than deeply defined system of sciences, for ease of play, it includes vulcanology, continental shift theory, glacier movements and an understanding of seismology rather than dividing such into their seperate disciplines.
