Inorganic chemistry is the branch of chemistry concerned with the properties and behavior of inorganic compounds. This field covers all chemical compounds except the myriad organic compounds (compounds containing C-H bonds), which are the subjects of organic chemistry. The distinction between the two disciplines is far from absolute, and there is much overlap.

The splitting of the two types of chemistry in Zamani science is realatively new as a concept in Jarro, and non-existent on the other worlds in the setting. Although there are a number of sub-disciplines in both categories in Earth Science, there is no need for further breaking it down in a pulp setting game
