The word Cosmology in Zamani is treated as such from a Religious and Esoteric direction, rather than in a purely Physics applied use of the word. (For an explanation of the difference usages of the word see : Wikipedia)
Generally, in all the religions of Jarro, there has been some major uphevals in the teachings of the various religions since the coming of the Aliens, despite the desire of the Aliens to not disrupt the culture of the worlds involved. It is in part, due to this reaction to first contact, that the Aliens are very careful about what is said and not said to the natives of the worlds, and why they have avoided contact with the more primitive culures and worlds in the Zamani System.
There are some connecting beliefs between the various religions of Jarro that seems, to the aliens, to point to either a unified past or a direct attempt by the gods and their followers to portray a unified set of beliefs regarding the origin of the universe, world, people etc.
Overall Jarro is a collection of Polytheistic belief systems, some of which may be in open or hidden conflict with each other. Generally this is blamed on the interference of the gods directly in the worlds, and the prejudices and ambitions of various leaders within the religions.
Many of the gods seem to be very much regional or even national in regards to their influence and some religious magical practitioners seem to be weakened or even powerless when traveling distances from the main area that their deities are worshipped.
Unlike in many Earth Religions, the gods and their spokespeople do not claim that they themselves created the universe or the worlds within it directly (though some do claim to have given intelligence to people, guided civilizations, reshaped the worlds or prevented specific disasters).
