Jarro Unusual Beasts

Jarro is the most Earth-like of the worlds of Zamani, and apparently has had large amounts of Earth flora and fauna transported it (according to the Alien scientists). Beyond this it has a sprinkling of creatures from the other worlds in the Zamani system, which may be the result of the meddling of the gods, or from occasional transport between the worlds by magical means.

One of the features that seperate Jarro from Earth in a similar time period is that it has not been thru the severe cycle of ice ages that plagued that planet, and so various forms of 'mega-fauna' in the form of giant mammals, insects, sea life and reptiles can be encountered in the wilderness areas of the world.

It also has 'micro-fauna', that is miniature versions or early versions of mammals that are more commonly known to modern Earth.

A number of extinct species may also be found alive and well on Jarro, and then there are some strange 'evolutions' that appear to be the result of magical manipulations of creatures (some into mythic forms).
