Lutetia

Island Continent to the west of Urnara, in the Norther Hemisphere of Jarro. It is claimed in entire by New Lutetia, a republic with a partial democratic system of government.

Lutetia was originally settled by the countries Belgravia, Perdrix and Adria. Eventually, thru various years of war, Perdrix and Adria lost their colonies. The local population eventually revolted from Belgravia during it's final empire war with Adria and achieved freedom to establish themselves as a seperate nation, New Lutetia.

The settled areas of Lutetia are primarily the coastland areas, but New Lutetia lays claim to the entire continent. The Majority of the land is currently unpopulated, a mixture of grasslands and forestland primarily populated by large amounts of rather impressive Mega-Fauna and micro-fauna. Slowly this area is being enroached on, but there is no major effort to expand too quickly since there is a high level of danger.

When you're facing saber-tooths, giant sloths, and other nasties you tend not to want to stray too deep into the wilderness unless you're a really good shot with a rifle.
