(Major Favorable Trait)
This trait is the mark of a protagonist or major antagonist, and is not found among "normal" people. It is the mark of capability under pressure, the potential for success despite the odds, the ability to survive cliffhangers and perils.
Mechanically the trait gives the character a slight edge in conflict. Whenever someone makes a controlled attack against the character they need to get one state of higher effect than is normal for a controlled attack by the attacker. If the attacker normally would succeed on a H, X or C (the default for a controlled attack) then they can only succeed against the character with this trait with an X or a C. If they could normally succeed with an M (thru a spell or other trait) then they can succeed only with an H,X or C as if they didn't have that favorable trait.
Secondarily a character with Major Moxie gets a +2 to their Ambush Skill for defense against other people attempting to ambush them (but not for making ambushes themselves).
This trait, as far as GMs are concerned, should only be placed on "name" opponents. Henchmen, minions, servants, innocent bystanders, and other ordinary supporting characters should not receive this trait when built by the GM as it is intended for more dramatic usages.
This trait cannot be taken at the same time as Combat Luck.
