(Severe Unfavorable Trait)
This trait is rare for a player character, and is more appropriate to supporting characters or antagonists. Basically the character is property of another, and must obey their commands, legally and/or magically. They have only limited free will and in the end must serve the demands of their owner, whoever that may be.
This is a state very uncommon in the more civilized lands of Jarro but not unheard of in some of the more distant places like the Dragomir Sultanate and similar regions of the world. It also occurs on some of the other worlds in the Zamani system, though more than not such is the state of magical creatures, beings, or a sentence for criminal or political behaviors.
This trait requires GM permission to take, since it is also inappropriate to many campaigns. Playing a character with this trait can be a challenge to many players, and might be considered one of the Story Traits in some campaigns.
Being owned in this manner is obviously also a social stigma.
