Shadowing

(Creative Skill)

This is the skill of conducting prolonged surveillance of a person or place without being perceived as doing such by those being watched. It can also be used, in reverse, to determine that one is being watched or followed by someone conducting surveillance, and how to possibly lose them from following.

It involves careful use of terrain, movement, blending, camoflauge, vehicle use, remaining inconspicuous, and even possibly placing suspicion on others or using multiple persons to carry out sequential surveillance.

Using this skill and finding/following/observing the actions of a person are among the prime skills of a good detective oriented character.
