Speed Reading (Minor Favorable Trait)

This trait means that the character has received specialized training in reading and retaining information from books and other materials. Uninterrupted they can manage to read books at about 100 pages in an hour, or your average novel in about 3 hours, with significant retention levels of the material read.

If combined with Eidetic Memory then they can retain nearly all the content for years to come.

Speed Reading allows much faster learning of the first rank in a new skill, if it is being learned in part from a textbook source. Instead of the usual 50 hours needed, the basics can be learned in about 5 uninterrupted hours. (If learning time is going to be broken up, then it would take 10 hours).
