A character or creature with this trait cannot be knocked out by a standard combat hit result of a knockout, nor thru enhancements, spells, or specialized abilities associated with achieving this in combat. Their brain is not subject to unconsciousness results, perhaps because of extra defenses, perhaps because they are only magically conscious (such as many forms of undead).
